Association culturelle Bani-Thani

a été fondée à Toulouse dans le but de :

promouvoir et valoriser la culture, les arts et les artistes indiens auprès d’un public large;

favoriser les échanges culturels entre l’Inde et la France, notamment avec la culture Occitane;

transmettre les savoirs-faire (langues, musique, bien-être etc...) à travers l’organisation d’événements, de manifestations et d’ateliers;

soutenir la communauté indienne et le diaspora indien.

Association Bani-Thani (non profit cultural organization)

Founded in March 2018 in Toulouse (south-west France), the Association is a non-profit initiative of an art professional living and working between India & France since many years.

Its name taken from a famous Miniature painting from 1750's in India by Nihal Chand (also known as the Indian Mona lisa)

Objectives and goals of Asso Bani-Thani

Promotion and development of Indian art(s), artists and heritage

Cultural exchange between India and France (in the fields of music, languages, fine arts, Yoga, dance, performances etc...)

Organizing and celebrating Indian cultural festivals, conferences, exhibitions...

Community- Indian diaspora & the local french/ Occitan culture

Special spotlight and promotion for women creators

Workshops : Transmission of Indian culture and the 'know-how' through workshops and masterclasses (for young and adults)

Bani-Thani - La peinture miniature de cette princesse, datant de 1750 est souvent comparé avec La Gioconde/ Mona lisa de France. Une poète et chanteuse, est connu pour la grâce et l'élégance et les traits uniques peint par l'artiste Nihal Chand (issu de l’École de Rajasthan)
